MAPP is a working group on Members and Activists of Political Parties. It is part of the Committee for Political Sociology (CPS), leading international research group sponsored by the International Sociological Association (ISA) and the International Political Science Association (IPSA), and recognized by the ECPR standing group on Political Parties.
MAPP is also a research project funded by the Belgian Fonds national de la recherche scientifique (FRS-FNRS). It is an international collaborative project to advance the comparative study of party membership.
